Maximum of 10 people for the trip.
We are setting off from Tauranga to dive Mayor Island for our first dive trip of the year! We will be departing on the Friday and arriving back on Sunday. Price includes: Air Refills, Food and Dormitory Accommodation on board the live aboard. You can receive a discount on your rental gear at Dive Zone Tauranga as well.
Whether you are into underwater photography, exploring or catching some Crays along the way this trip will be an exciting trip out to our local underwater backyard!
WHAT TO BRING
Safety is always a number one priority when diving. You will be instructed through your dive trips with all safety requirements.
HEALTH & FITNESS
A reasonable standard of fitness is required. As per above the following is required before booking on this trip:
If seas are too rough to head out, the crew at Dive Zone Tauranga make the call if the seas become unsafe for us to head out. If this is the case then a full refund will be provided.
WEATHER IN MARCH TAURANGA, NEW ZEALAND

The average maximum temperature lies around 22.0°C (71.6°F). With a water temperature of around 19.0°C (66.2°F), this is a great month to swim. If you enjoy looking at a blue sky and like sunbathing than this month is a great period to visit Tauranga. It has 200 hours of sun. So what to wear in March? Visitors traveling to Tauranga should plan on bringing a totally waterproof rain jacket since it will be raining some days. Also bring your shorts and or a skirt because it can be very nice and warm.

Dive Zone Tauranga have public liability insurance for their courses and dives. We strongly recommend that you purchase your own travel/medical insurance while on the course to cover for any medical and related costs. (i.e helicopter out of area, hospital care, accommodation etc.)
