FAMILY FISHING EVENT

Join us a for a fun filled day on board the Chris Jolly Outdoors boat. We will head out on the water for some trout fishing, swimming and clay shooting. We will also be serving up a tasty BBQ for everyone and if we catch a few fish there will also be fresh sashimi to try! This is a family event so everyone is welcome on board. We hope to see you join us for the day.
WHAT TO BRING
Clothing that is suitable for the season's weather conditions i.e:
Safety is always a number one priority. The crew from Chris Jolly Outdoors will have a safety briefing on board the boat. If for any reasons the weather turns we will contact you for any changes prior to the event.
We strongly recommend that all members have their own medical insurance while on the activity to cover for any medical and related costs (i.e helicopter out of area, hospital care, accommodation etc.)
HEALTH & FITNESS
You do not need to be overly fit to enjoy a trip out fishing but make sure you are able to take on swell and sea sickness if the weather does turn on us. If you are unsure whether you think you can participate please contact us to have a chat about your medical concerns.
It is essential to be well prepared for the weather conditions. As we all know the weather in New Zealand can change dramatically over the course of a few hours so it is good to be prepared.
This is a rough guide below as to what to expect for weather but please make sure you are prepared for any rough weather that might arise.
WEATHER FEBRUARY IN TAUPO, NEW ZEALAND
The amount of rain in February is high with an average of 82mm (3.2in). February is the driest month of the year. Be prepared February is also the hottest month. The average maximum temperature lies around 23.0°C (73.4°F). With a water temperature of around 18.0°C (64.4°F), this is a great month to swim. If you enjoy looking at a blue sky and like sunbathing than this month is a great period to visit Taupo. It has 208 hours of sun. So what to wear in February? Visitors traveling to Taupo should plan on bringing a totally waterproof rain jacket since it will be raining some days. Also bring your shorts and or a skirt because it can be very nice and warm.

Chris Jolly Outdoors have public liability insurance for their charters. We strongly recommend that you purchase your own travel/medical insurance while on the course to cover for any medical and related costs. (i.e helicopter out of area, hospital care, accommodation etc.)

We do require a Non-Refundable deposit for all bookings. If the course is unable to run due to weather or lack of numbers, then Non-Refundable deposits will be refunded.
